Regulatory Returns Preparation Agent
Prepares draft schedules for the Bank's monthly regulatory returns to BNM from lakehouse data. It pulls the reconciled balances, maps them to the return line items, reconciles totals to the general ledger, explains month-on-month movements above threshold and hands a draft pack to Group Finance for review. Submission stays with Group Finance.

Data access scope
- Read-only: reconciled month-end aggregates in the gold layer
- Read-only: general ledger trial balance for the reporting month
- Write: draft schedules and variance notes to the returns workbench only
- No customer-level records leave the lakehouse
Guardrails
- Will not produce a draft if the lakehouse snapshot has an open data quality hold
- Any line item that does not reconcile to the ledger within MYR 1,000 is flagged, not adjusted
- Cannot submit to BNM; submission requires Group Finance sign-off in the returns system
