About this dataset

Every alert raised by the transaction monitoring system since 2021, with the triggering scenario, alert features, investigator disposition (closed as false positive, escalated, suspicious transaction report filed) and handling time. The training base for the AML alert prioritiser and the mule account detector, and the evidence base for scenario tuning.

Usage rights

Group Financial Crime Compliance and approved developers only, for alert prioritisation, scenario tuning and model validation. Customer-level data under banking secrecy (FSA 2013) and PDPA 2010. Stays in-region in Google Cloud Malaysia; export outside the region, re-identification attempts and joins to raw identifiers are prohibited. Direct identifiers are tokenised at ingestion; the token vault is held by Group Data & AI and is not exposed to consumers. STR filing status is tipping-off sensitive under AMLA 2001 and is masked for every consumer outside Financial Crime.

Lineage

Extracted daily from the transaction monitoring and case management systems, joined to customer and account tokens in silver. Dispositions are final only when the case is closed; open alerts carry a null disposition. Migrated from the retired SAS AML analytics mart in 2025.
