About this dataset
Synthetic and specimen identity and company documents for training and testing KYC extraction: MyKad front and back, MyPR, passports, and SSM company profile and Form 9 / Section 17 certificates. Every image carries a SPECIMEN watermark and synthetic details (MyKad numbers such as 900101-14-XXXX). Augmented for glare, skew, low light and worn cards. No live customer documents are included.
Usage rights
Model development and testing of KYC and onboarding document AI by Group Operations, Group Data & AI and approved vendors under licence. Specimens must not be used to test or train anything outside document extraction. Confidential because the layout annotations describe security features.
Lineage
Rendered from layout templates by the Group Data & AI synthetic data pipeline with synthetic names, addresses and numbers, then photographed and augmented. Field labels are generated with the template and spot-checked by the Operations KYC team. Stored in Cloud Storage in the Malaysia region with labels indexed in BigQuery.
