About this dataset
Letters of credit, bank guarantees, trade financing and remittances processed by Trade Operations since 2021, with the supporting documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin) and the checker's discrepancy findings. Used to train and evaluate trade document extraction and discrepancy checking.
Usage rights
Business Banking Trade Operations, Group Financial Crime Compliance (trade-based money laundering review) and approved vendors under licence for document AI. Customer-level data under banking secrecy (FSA 2013) and PDPA 2010. Stays in-region in Google Cloud Malaysia; export outside the region, re-identification attempts and joins to raw identifiers are prohibited. Direct identifiers are tokenised at ingestion; the token vault is held by Group Data & AI and is not exposed to consumers. Counterparty names on documents are masked in the training copy.
Lineage
Transactions extracted daily from the trade finance system; document images copied from the imaging archive to Cloud Storage in the Malaysia region. Checker findings come from the trade system's discrepancy log. Dataplex checks document-to-transaction linkage.
