About this dataset
Posted transactions on all current and savings accounts, retail and business: DuitNow, IBG, JomPAY, FPX, cheques, cash, standing instructions and salary credits, with transaction narrative, channel and counterparty bank code. The most reused dataset on the platform, feeding financial crime, forecasting, attrition and ETB models.
Usage rights
Registered financial crime, risk, forecasting and customer analytics use cases only. Customer-level data under banking secrecy (FSA 2013) and PDPA 2010. Stays in-region in Google Cloud Malaysia; export outside the region, re-identification attempts and joins to raw identifiers are prohibited. Direct identifiers are tokenised at ingestion; the token vault is held by Group Data & AI and is not exposed to consumers. Counterparty account numbers are tokenised; narratives are redacted for account numbers and phone numbers.
Lineage
End-of-day extract from core banking posting tables into bronze, standardised in silver (transaction type mapping, MYT timestamps, counterparty tokenisation, narrative redaction). Dataplex reconciles daily totals to the general ledger and flags posting-date gaps.
