About this dataset

Monthly view of every SME and commercial borrower: facilities, limits and utilisation, repayment conduct, account turnover, MSIC industry code, SSM registration age and internal rating. Supports SME credit rating, credit memo drafting, cash-flow forecasting and industry concentration reporting. Around 118K business customers.

Usage rights

Business Banking, Group Risk (credit risk and Model Risk Management) and Group Data & AI for registered credit, portfolio and pricing use cases. Customer-level data under banking secrecy (FSA 2013) and PDPA 2010. Stays in-region in Google Cloud Malaysia; export outside the region, re-identification attempts and joins to raw identifiers are prohibited. Direct identifiers are tokenised at ingestion; the token vault is held by Group Data & AI and is not exposed to consumers.

Lineage

Sourced from the loan origination system, core banking facility and repayment tables, the collateral system and SSM company profile extracts. Conformed in silver on a business customer key, then aggregated monthly to gold. Dataplex checks limit-versus-outstanding consistency, MSIC code validity against the DOSM MSIC 2008 list and rating coverage.
