Production workloads and customer data stay in Google Cloud Malaysia. Singapore is used only for platform build, testing and non-sensitive pilot data.

Why it matters
Customer data is protected by banking secrecy and the PDPA, and outsourcing to a cloud provider is subject to BNM Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) and BNM's policy on outsourcing. Keeping production and customer data in-region is how the platform meets those requirements by default.
Never copy customer data to a laptop, a personal drive or a public AI tool. If you need data outside the platform, raise a ticket.
