Change how the platform itself runs, such as access approval, validation intake or drift response, in the Workflow studio.

What an operating workflow is
The platform's own processes are workflows: each is a chain of steps, some run by governance agents and some by people, with checkpoints where a named person decides. Editing a workflow changes how the platform operates, so changes are reviewed before they take effect.
Steps
- 1Open the Workflow studio and select the workflow.
- 2Review the current steps, the agent or person behind each, and the checkpoints.
- 3Make your change: add, remove or reorder steps, or change who decides at a checkpoint.
- 4Check the guardrails still hold: a checkpoint required by the classification or risk tier cannot be removed.
- 5Save as a new version with a note on why. The change goes for governance sign-off before it runs.
Checkpoints that exist because of regulation, such as a validator's signature on a Tier 1 model, are locked.
