Request access to a Confidential or Strictly Confidential asset

Before you start

• Internal assets need no request: subscribe and use them.
• Your own division's assets need no request either.
• Be ready to say what you will use the asset for, for how long, and on which data.

Steps

1. 1Open the asset's page and select Request access.
2. 2Write the purpose in one or two sentences a reviewer can check: the business process, the population and the output. For example: "Score ETB customers in Consumer Banking for the Q4 cross-sell campaign, synthetic data first."
3. 3Choose a duration: 3, 6 or 12 months. Ask for what you need; renewal is easy.
4. 4Submit. The Intake Triage Agent checks the request is complete and routes it to the owner. Credit and Tier 1 assets also go to Model Risk Management.
5. 5Follow it under Subscriptions. Confidential requests are typically decided within 2 working days.

Subscriptions Models

After a decision

If approved, the entitlement appears under Subscriptions with any conditions. Add the asset's scope to your application's service account. If it is returned, the reviewer's note says why: fix it and resubmit rather than raising a new request.
